Business Control Systems, LP (BCS) is currently looking for a Construction Electrical Project Engineer to assist our client's Electrical Engineer in the construction of a new wafer fab.

You primarily will lead the design and construction of activities related to lower and high voltage power distribution systems as they pertain to the fab and review specification documentation and drawings, plus other documents, they are accurate and fully capture the design intent. You may also attend meetings to address "one-off” type scenarios. Depending on the day, there will be work group meetings to include design firms hired to assist with design along with client's personnel. The project is in the early stages of design. You will take part in a second project, a parking structure, in which design is complete and construction has already begun. You must become familiar with its design and will likely perform quality assurance and field support to the garage project. You will also ensure design packages are complete, comprehensive, integrated and reasonably free of change notice potential. This includes reviewing project specification documents for accuracy and clarity.

What you bring:

  • 5 years of relevant experience in electrical distribution design and construction Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Professional Engineering License in Texas is desirable but not a requirement.
  • Computer/software skills – MS Office Suite, MS Project, Sharepoint, AutoCAD, Adobe Acrobat, SAP, Autodesk BIM360
  • MUST HAVES: Design experience (in support of semiconductor fab is preferable!) good design process. Power distribution system design.
